Scheduling

Please be sure to select the eastern time zone. Proceeding without selecting the eastern time zone will cause you to be notified of what will appear to be a too early or late time.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment date; the date will be locked in as soon as the deposit is processed through Square. Acuity, our scheduling agent will prompt you to pay your deposit when you've decided your date and hairstyle.

Once an appointment is set, client agrees to arrive promptly. 15 minute tardiness will invoke a $15 fine. 30 minute tardiness will be considered a cancellation, unless otherwise discussed. If moving forward with appointment, client will be charged $15 every 15 minutes after scheduled appointment time.

Clients will be given options to add appointments to their personal calendar. Reminders will be sent 3 days prior to appointment date.
Cancellations

A cancellation will result in the loss of your initial deposit. To reschedule, another deposit of $50 will be required to secure any other date (unless moving appointment up to an earlier date.)Your initial deposit will NOT be movable to your RE-scheduled date.
Acuity does however, allow you to move your appointment anytime one week prior to your scheduled date. If another date is needed, you're encouraged to move your appointment no less than 7 (seven) days prior to your appointment. -
If a client is a no call or no show, they are not considered for a reschedule. Client will also be removed from client list and blocked from making any future appointments.
Appointment

Stylist LaTonya is located at 12712 W. 9 Mile at Evolve Salon
Stylist DeJanae is located at 4851 E. 9 Mile at Da Shop.
These locations will be attached to your reminder email. -
Clients can be dropped off and there is plenty of space for parking at both locations.

We ask that clients come prepared with all hair/materials required to execute installation; neck pillows and blankets are allowed.

Please bring a mask to wear if it makes you comfortable.

If you show signs of cold or flu or are showing symptoms include coughing, sneezing, trouble breathing or increased body temperature please don't hesitate to cancel your appointment or schedule for a future date (deposit will be consumed if cancelled due to illness)

Please come with your hair washed if your being styled by DeJanae-- with a leave in conditioner or a light oil (olive, tea tree, grapeseed oil) added unless adding on a shampoo service. A blow dry is not necessary unless specified

Hair prepping procedures (washing, blow drying. etc.,) are now included in all of the services offered by LaTonya. You are not required to come washed but please detangle your hair prior to service.

We require to be notified if client will be bringing guests.

Please keep track of all possessions during appointment; If food or snacks are brought we ask that the area is kept clean. If refrigerator space is needed, we will accommodate.
Payment

Cash is encouraged but various payment options are available. We take full payments via Square.

A card swiper and CashApp transactions are both available.

A full payment will be required before client leaves our braid studio.
Follow-Up
-
Fixes are on us within the first 21 days on all styles, in case of slips or unravels; should a client pass the 21 day mark, touch ups are priced according to style.

It is beneficial to book other touch-ups, such as perimeter retouches for 6-8 weeks after installation. Please call for a touch up 1-2 weeks prior of needing it.
